After years of looking we finally found our special girl as the founding female for Eclipse Border Collies. Tara is worked in herding, agility, rally obedience, and obedience. She is out of Rising Sun Shey Ireland ABC193629 and Blazin' Kane ABC182897. We want to thank Becky Beckmann and Steve Burdine of Rising Sun Farm for our special girl.
Tara works both sheep (at our trainer's house) and ducks (at home) and is showing all the potential of her breeding. She started trialing in herding and agility in 2006 and will add Rally obedience and Obedience as we can.
2010: As a result of an injury in 2008, Tara is retired from Agility. We still may put her in Obedience, but we shall see. She will still trial in AHBA stockdog trials, but we will keep a close eye on her.

UKC Conformation - July 23-24, 2005 in Lake Elmo, MN - Tara received her first Group 3rd win.
AHBA Herding Trial - April 23, 2006 in Northfield, MN hosted by Great River Stockdog Club - Tara passed with flying colors and earned the comment from Judge Cappy Pruett "Nice Dog".
AKC: FMKC Agility Trial (5/21-22/2006) - 3rd place NAJ Q, 1st place NA Q
June 2-3 - AKC Conformation this was our last conformation trial.
June 23, 2006 AKC GRSC Club - Tara earned her PT title with flying colors.
August 18, 2006 AHBA GRSC Club- Tara earned her first leg in the HTD I Sheep.
November 11, 2006 AHBA at Windy Acres- Tara earned her first leg in the HTD1 Turkeys & HTAD I Sheep
January 4-7, 2007 at the St. Paul Dog Training Club and Land O' Lakes shows: Tara earned her Rally Novice Title in one weekend.
May 28, 2007 - whelped 7 healthy puppies: 4 girls and 3 boys.
NADAC: Agile Canines Trial 7/8/2007 - Tara earned her first TN-N leg.
2/23-24/2008: Minneapolis Kennel Club: Tara earned 2/3 legs towards her RA
3/8-3/9/2008: Wright County Kennel Club: Tara earned her Rally Advanced title & a leg towards her RE:)
4/5-4/6/2008: FMKC: Tara finished her Rally Excellent title with scores in the 90s both days:)
9/13-9/14/2008: BOTC: Tara finished her NAJ with a 2nd place & 3rd place Qs.
9/12/2009: 4UFarms AHBA Trial: Tara finished her HTADIs and earned her BCSA Versatility title, plus earned her first leg for her HTADIIId title under Judge Shelley Fritzke.
9/26/2009: 4U Farms AHBA Trial: Tara finished her HTADIIId title under Judge Roy Sage.
