About Us

I fell in love with the Border Collie when I watched a stockdog demo in high school and I knew I wanted to have that working partnership when I grew up. In 1998 I moved to North Dakota and married a native who had never lived out of a city, but he wanted me to follow my dream. I faltered for many years, but did manage to compete in agility, rally obedience, obedience, and stock dog trials. One day I was finally ready to follow my dream and we bought a 10 acre farmstead. Soon the sheep came. At first, we raised Jacob sheep, but they weren't what our customers wanted so we have slowly been switching over to a hair sheep cross of Katahdin and Dorper. We still have a few Jacob ladies. We also started to raise chickens. We now supply all our own meat at the farm and sell our extra. We also homeschool our daughter. We have only bred 4 litters of Border Collies since 2007, because we only bred when we are ready to add another working partner to our crew. We are really proud of all we have accomplished since we moved to the farm in 2010.
